I'm a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for creating beautiful, intuitive, and delightful digital experiences. I came to design over a decade ago from studio art. The ways in which the arts intersect and influence each other are energizing and something I look for everywhere.
No matter the project, I begin by talking to stakeholders—including end users—and taking stock of business goals, understanding that design solutions try to bridge the two. This is typically followed by surveying the landscape of competitors and analogous businesses. Identifying the right problems to solve is important throughout project lifecycles. Research, a lot of brainstorming, concept iteration, and continuous feedback from stakeholders are a big parts of my working process. I care a lot about consistently delivering high quality results.
For fifteen years, I’ve worked in various studios, agencies, and in-house design teams doing interactive design for a range of industries. I feel lucky to go to work practicing creativity and enjoy learning technology to understand its possibilities and limitations. Getting to collaborate with and learn from others is one of my favorite aspects of practicing design.
